Make a Donation to Your Library
Strengthening communities. Inspiring lifelong learning. Engaging readers. Every day Winnipeg Public Library provides this and much more to our community. You can help support your public library and community by donating funds or materials.
Donations of Materials (books, movies, etc.)
Winnipeg Public Library accepts donations of books, DVDs, Blu-rays, video games and CDs. Newer materials published in the current or previous year and in good condition are especially welcome. Please read the following donations flyer prior to bringing your donations to the library to ensure your donation meets the library's needs. Items not accepted for use in the library's collections will be sold in book sales. We have also suggested other organizations that may benefit from your used books.
Donations of Money, Funds or Planned Giving
Demand for the library's programs and collections grow every day. New services and technologies challenge our resources. Your gift allows the library to continue to meet, and to improve, for today and for future generations. Consider making a donation today. We will put your generosity to work right away!
Your Donation Will:
- buy resources for all levels of readers and learners
- support new technologies including adaptive equipment
- fund special projects such as enhancements to children's areas
- enhance literacy programming, and so much more!
