Delivery and Selection Services
Home Service
Winnipeg Public Library offers a Home Service program in which library materials are delivered by a library staff member to customers residing within the City of Winnipeg who are unable to access the library due to barriers such as long-term illness or disability and who have no one who can access the library on their behalf. The service is based on need and is limited to those who have no other options available to them.
Home Service customers are matched with library staff members who make monthly selections based on discussed interests, preferences and requests.
Home Service customers have access to a wide range of items including:
- Regular and large print books
- Audiobooks
- DAISY books (for those who qualify)
- Music CDs
- Movies (DVD, Blu-ray)
- Magazines
To learn more, contact Millennium Library's Home Service Coordinator at 204-986-2738.
