Invitation to community agencies
The Library invites community agencies to offer direct services in Community Connections. All bookings are at the discretion of the CCWs following criteria set by the Millennium Library Community Working Group.
Criteria for community agencies are:
- Peer-led organizations (by and for people with lived experience)
- Mental health organizations
- Indigenous organizations
- Support a harm reduction approach
- Supportive of 2SLGBTQ+ community
- Newcomer serving organizations
- Diversity and inclusion groups
- Organizations that can offer these services on site:
- homelessness prevention
- provide for basic needs
- provide for low income
- help doing taxes
- health services
- non-profit housing services
- Groups that remove barriers in other systems/provide for basic needs.
We schedule up to 3 months ahead. Please complete this online form and staff will follow up with you.
Have a poster or pamphlet to display for our resource area?
We accept posters and brochures from agencies that offer social services. Drop off or mail your posters or brochures to: Millennium Library, Community Connections, 251 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3P5.
