History
The former Windsor Park Library, 955 Cottonwood Rd., opened in 1961 as a branch of the St. Boniface Library system to serve the newly created subdivision of Windsor Park. The branch was identified as one of the first ones for replacement in the Library Redevelopment Strategy. In 2018, a new Windsor Park Library was built at 1195 Archibald St. to meet the needs of today's library users. The new library is designed to LEED silver standards, and is approx. 8,000 sq. ft. (1,400 more than the former library).
