The Challenge
For the seventh year, Winnipeg Public Library and the Winnipeg Public Library Board present Books2Eat. This worldwide festival invites book lovers to create an edible piece of art inspired by books. That's the only rule -- how you choose to interpret it is part of the fun! It's all free and open to everyone.
- Your piece of edible art can refer to a title, scene or character, look like a book or book cover, or just have something to do with books.
- The only other essential qualification is that your creation must be made entirely of edible materials (either raw or cooked).
- There are three categories: Family Group (adults in partnership with kids under 14); Student Group (three or more people 14 to 18); and Open (for individuals over 18).
- Everyone who enters will receive a certificate of participation, and photographs of all entries will be posted on the Winnipeg Public Library's Flickr account.
