Osborne Library opened in 1941 in a storefront at 719 Osborne followed by a move in 1957 to 700 Osborne. In 1982, 150 children from local schools took part in a book brigade to move books to the new location two blocks down the street at the Fort Rouge Recreation and Leisure Centre. The 4,120 sq.ft. library was renovated in 2010.
