Munroe Library renovation

Munroe Library is closed for renovations. The renovations are expected to take approximately three months to complete. Munroe Library is expected to reopen in February 2022.

About the closure

Munroe Library is located at 489 London St. and is closing to undergo some minor remodelling. The changes and improvements are mostly superficial and should not take long to complete.

Items on hold

All holds will be sent to Henderson Library, 1-1050 Henderson Hwy. These holds will be available on the afternoon of Monday, October 25.

Customers will be unable to select Munroe as a hold pickup location during the closure. They may select any of the other 19 locations.

Returning books

The book return will be unavailable for the duration of the closure. Munroe items can continue to be returned at any Winnipeg Public Library location.

Contacting the library

Phones will not be answered during the closure and the answering machine will be offline. If you wish to get in touch with someone at the library during that time, you can call the Library's main information line at 204-986-6450 or send us a question via the Ask us form.

Using computers

Computers at Munroe Library will be unavailable for booking for the duration of the closure.
