Winnipeg Public Library
is not an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and does not provide
or administer customer email accounts. However, free web-based
email accounts may be used on the computers with Internet
access at the Library. Once your account has been set up,
you may send and receive messages whenever you can get access
to the World Wide Web.
There are many sites on the Internet where you can set
up a free email account. While library staff may not
be able to assist customers in using these accounts, setting
one up should be fairly straightforward. Each email site
will provide instructions on how to create and use an
account.
The following list is
just a selection of the numerous free email sites available
