*Please note that Freegal is not available for use on library computers. Digital materials cannot be downloaded to public computers located in the library.

FreegalHow does it work?

Log in to Freegal using your library card and PIN. Your library card must be valid.

Browse or search music by genre, performer, composer, song, or album. You can listen to a 30-second clip of each file to ensure that you have the correct song. Once you have found a file you want, click on the "Download Now" link and click "Save" to save the file to your home computer or device. Please note that once you click the "Download Now" button your download is used.

You have a download limit of three MP3 files/songs per week. Once your download limit is reached all download links change to read "Limit Exceeded". You can then add songs to a "wish list" to download later.

Accounts are reset to zero each week at midnight, Sunday night. At this point you can download three more filse. Wish list" songs will be held for 24 hours from this time.

While patrons will not be able to download music using library computers they will be able to download to personal laptops or other wireless -enabled mobile devices through the Library WiFi.

Please see the Help document on the Freegal website for more tips.
