Ask our qualified staff for answers to basic reference questions or let us direct you to appropriate resources.
Most questions will be answered within two working days.
Assistance is also available by calling 986-6450 during regular library hours.
If you have a local history or genealogy question:
Ask a Librarian can guide you to books and other resources to help you trace your ancestors but due to the large number of genealogy questions we receive we cannot do research on your behalf.
If you have a question on an individual we will attempt to provide an answer as staff time allows.
Please limit your search to one surname. Give the full name of the person, probable time frame plus any other useful clues you have.
We will search ten years of directories.
Library staff will make photocopies for you upon request and will advise you in advance of any fees. An invoice will be sent with the materials.
