New Charleswood Library Under Development!
The new Charleswood Library is now under development! We are hard at work planning for the new library which will be approximately 14,000 square feet (almost triple the current space). Features to watch out for is a family literacy playground in the children's area, a teen space, fireplace lounge area, more computers for public use, more study space, a tutorial room and a dedicated program room. There will be plenty of comfortable seating and tables and chairs for all ages. Charleswood Library staff is looking forward to offering a bigger and brighter space to library users and more programming opportunities for all ages. Detailed plans will be made available on this page and in the current Charleswood Library when they are finalized. The new Library, to be located at 4910 Roblin Blvd. Charleswood Square, is slated to open before the end of 2014.
